John Ellison, farer and stock-raiser, sec. 22; P. O., Vermont; was born in Lancashire, Eng., in 1835; his parents are referred to in the above sketch; he passed his boyhood and youth in Ohio, where he received a liberal education; Feb . 15, 1860, he married Miss Cinah Sidwell, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Sidwell, the former of Maryland and the latter of Penn.; their children are William, Edward, Thomas, Frank and Elizabeth.
