F. M. Foutch was born in Sangamon Co., Ill., in 1833, the son of
John and Rhoda (Ray) Foutch, the former a native of Kentucky. The
family emigrated to this county in 1835, where the subject of this
sketch was educated in the common schools. He has served the township
of Isabel acceptably as Assessor and Collector. In 1854 he married
Elizabeth Leadmon, a native of Indiana, and they have had 5 children, 4
of whom are living. Mr. Foutch was a merchant for 6 years, but is now a
farmer, on sec. 27; P.O. Duncan's Mills.
Note: my records shows that Francis Marion Foutch married Elizabeth Leadman March 01, 1854 in Fulton County, Illinois.
