William Gibson was born in Beaver Co., Pa., Aug. 7, 1833. He
resides at present upon section 8, Banner township, where he is engaged
in farming. The parents of our subject are William and Hopey (Miller)
Gibson, natives of the Keystone State. Mr. G. came to Fulton county in
1855 and ten years later was married to Agnes Beck. They had a family
of 6 children - 4 boys and 2 girls, all of whom are living. He belongs
to the M. E. Church and is a republican in politics.
