Henry Kirkbride, keeper of livery and feed stable, Vermont, the
oldest and most successful institution of the kind ever established in
the place. He commenced business prior to the building of the C., B.
& Q. Railroad to this point, and by enterprise, perseverance and
integrity he has outstripped all his competitors, many of them having
started in the race and "got left." Mr. K. of course keeps a
first-class line of carriages and stock.
