Adrian E. Lane, farmer, sec. 21; P. O. Bernadotte; is among the
first farmers of the township, owning a splendid farm of 360 acres of
fine land, and is among the few men of his age born in this county, he
was born in Woodland township Nov. 28, 1833; married Harriette Freeman
Nov. 13, 1862, after whose death Mr. Lane married Morville C. Walters,
who was born in this county in 1832. Rather Democratic. Mrs. Lane is a
member of the Christian Church.
