Luther Merrill, farmer, sec. 24; P. O., Astoria. The subject of this sketch was born in Astoria township, Fulton Co., in 1849. His father, Henry Merrill, is on of the well-known pioneers of the county. Luther was united in marriage with Miss Mary J. Meredith, daughter of Joseph Meredith.
