Asaph Perry, deceased, was born in Franklin Co., N. Y., June 29,
1810, and came to this county in 1837, where he married Mrs. Caroline
R. Gardner, next mentioned. He was Sheriff of Fulton Co. 2 years, and
Deputy Sheriff 2 years. He was a truly great and good man. He died Feb.
7, 1879.
