Joseph Prosser was born Oct. 7, 1825, in Ohio, son of Joseph and
Eliza Prosser; came to this county in 1840; is a farmer on sec. 10, in
good circumstances; has 169 acres of land; was Corporal in Co. B, 103d
Ill. Inf.; married Betsey E. Norvill in 1845; has had 5 sons and 5
daughters; one boy and three girls have died. P. O., Midway.
