William Switzer, farmer, sec. 35; P. O., Astoria. William
Switzer was born on the old farm homestead of his parents, Jacob and
Elizabeth A. Switzer, in Nov., 1851. Growing to manhood in this county
he received a liberal education. In 1873 he was united in marriage with
Miss Melinda F. Lewis, daughter of J. W. Lewis, of Astoria. Elizabeth
A., Daniel H. and Perry W. are their children.
