Marion Hufford and his sister Marjery Hufford were born in 1856 and 1858 in Fulton County, Illinois. Their parents were Francis Marion Hufford and Sarah Bull (Sara was of English Descent. Her father's name was William Bull).

Their father and mother both died while they were very small and they were sent to live with their aunt Eliza Hufford Fouts who also resided in Fulton County, Ill.

Marion Hufford married Minnie Johnson (Minnie was born in Kansas). They had six children: Edwin, Esther, Verne, Ruth, Ernest and Leonard.

In the 1920 census, Los Angeles, Ca. (Watts) Ernest and Ruth were still living with them. The family had moved from Iowa. Edwin, Ernest, Leonard and Ruth were born in Iowa. The others were born as they migrated west.

Marion and Minnie later divorced and Minnie remarried. Her new husband was Dave Lovelace. They settled in Burbank, CA. We think Marion wound up in Ohio with his mother, Mary Hufford.
