The following are names extracted from the Probates of Robert Cravens and Joshua Hale both of Hamilton Co., IL; They are spelled as they appear in the probates, any letters in parentheses following a name indicate the last name also appears in other places spelled in that fashion. The lady at the Hamilton Circuit Clerk’s Office made copies of both probates, they consist of Letter’s of Administration, Estate Appraisals, Sale Receipts, and Bills submitted against the estates. As the Clerk was copying these Probates and replacing them in their jackets the papers were so brittle they were crumbling apart. I do have two complete copies of these if you would like copies please click on my email link below and put Hamilton County Wills in the subject line.
