Clarence Virgil Bader
Clarence V. Bader Rites Conducted In Hamilton Clarence V. Bader, 92, a retired farmer of Hamilton area, died on December 6 [1977] in the Memorial hospital in Carthage where he had been a patient for three days. Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Lamporte funeral home in Hamilton, conducted by the Rev. Terry Halstead. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery north of Hamilton. Mr. Bader was born in Browning, July 29, 1885, a son of Henry Oscar and Lusetta Saucer Bader. He married Casseline M Jenkins in May, 1914. She died in May 1943. He married Mary Elsie Slack in April 1953. He farmed north of Hamilton for many years. Mr. Bader was a member of the American Tree Farmers, a 50-year member of the Farm Bureau and a former member of the I.O.O.F. He attended the First Christian church in Keokuk, Iowa. Surviving is his wife. He was preceded in death by a brother and seven sisters.

Married Mary Oneal died 1900; 5 children Inese died in infancy & Reggie died 1929; leaves 3 children Howard, Raymond, Leland Bond. Married Alice Ellise; 4 children Bernadine died 1934; leaves 3 children Leland, Reba & Pauline. Married Kate Morriosn? (Morrison) 1936 died 1943. Louisa Bond
80 year old McLeansboro resident, Louisa Bond, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, July 18th at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. (born Sep. 5, 1923) She was the wife of the late Ernie Bond.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Linda Van Winkle and Jo Ann Cox both of McLeansboro, Jackie Frey of Dahlgren and Brenda Cullins of Wauchula, Florida; a brother, Harold Smith of Sun City Center, Florida; a sister, Lucendia Dial of Thompsonville; 4 sisters-in-law, Lois Smith of McLeansboro, Evea Bond of Effingham, Elizabeth Smith of West Frankfort and Lucille Myers of Seven Lakes, North Carolina; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchidren.
Funeral services for Louisa Bond were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 20th at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church near McLeansboro. Burial in Blooming Grove Cemetery.
Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 19th at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church. The Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro was in charge of the arrangements.

Carrie Lillie Broadway
Pocahontas, AR -- Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Lillie Broadway, 81, of 309 West Wiley, Pocahontas, were held Monday morning at 10 in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel in Pocahontas with Henry Massengale officiating.  Burial followed in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Broadway died Saturday at her home.  Born in McLeansboro, Ill. and having spent almost her entire lifetime in Randolph County, Mrs. Broadway was retired from the Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocahontas.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Broadway of Madison, Ill., and Jerrell Broadway of Pocahontas; one sister, Ethel Lingo of Walnut Ridge, AR; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  (NOTE:  Mrs. Broadway was born Aug 12, 1902; d.
