Janet Sue Walker
53-year-old McLeansboro resident, Janet Sue Walker died at 6:55 Tuesday evening, June 8, at her home in McLeansboro. She was an active member of Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church near McLeansboro and the leader of many youth ministries at the church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin of McLeansboro; a daughter, Marva Webb of McLeansboro; one sister, Nancy Prather of McLeansboro; two brothers, Gene Allen of McLeansboro and Jerry Allen of Effingham, IL, one grandson and one granddaughter. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Ruth and Cecil Allen
Funeral services for Janet Sue Walker were at 11 a.m. Friday June 11th at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church with burial at the Blooming Grove Cemtery.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday morning from 9 until the time of service at the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
The Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.

Val Webb
McLEANSBORO - Val G. Webb, 77, of McLeansboro died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Interment will follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro with the Rev. Russell McNalty officiating. Graveside military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 106 of McLeansboro. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.




Jess Wheeler
JESS WHEELER, DEAD
Jess Wheeler, was born in 1869, departed this life July 26, 1921, at Dale, age 52 years, 2 months and 5 days. He was united in marriage to Nellie Ritcheson, in August, 1910, and to this union five children were born, two of whom have preceded him in death. He has suffered severely for some time, and did not know for what purpose he was here so long, as he was willing to go, and gave strong evidence that he would meet God in peace. Having known Jess for some 30 years we always found him, good hearted and true to his friends. He leaves to mourn his departure, his companion, three children, mother and a number of brothers and sisters, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church in Dale. Conducted by Rev. C.M. Prince. The body was laid to rest in Digby Cemetery.

Lehman White
Born December 20, 1912, Hamilton County IL. Died September 15 1990, resident of Wayne City; son of Lalah Folliott-died Raised by grandparents; Albert & Emily White. Married Josephine Lesezykowski. Leaves wife; 3 sons; Danny White of Opdyke, Everett White of Batavia & David Denton of Marysville, Wa. 4 daughters Sandra Howell of Tipton Indiana, Shirley Gray & Ermal Wellerman of Fredricksburg Va. Barbara Forth of Dahlgren; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren 1 daughter died Lela Mae Thomason. Crouch Cemetery, Belle Prairie.

b. Aug 29, 1865 d. Mar 11, 1919 home in McLeansboro. Married Charles Hall Mar 11, 1882
four children, two died Eva M. & Harry both died;
Two children survive (Grace) Mrs. Oran Felix, McLeansboro &  (Stella) Mrs. Lester Page, Macedonia. Married W. D. Williams Jan 8, 1902 leaves husband 2 children 3 step-children, 1 brother, 1 half brother, and 1 half sister. Interred Rawls cemetery.

Leaves wife, 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, 1 brother C. C. Williams, Kankakee, 4 sisters Caroline widow of E. L. Grady, Belle Prairie; Mrs. Cordelia Glenn, Blairstown, Iowa, Josephine, wife of N. D. Maulding, Belle Prairie; & Elizabeth Warfield, Kiowa, Kan.
