Dorothy (Downey) Austin

Dorothy passed away on April 27, 2003, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

She was born on January 25, 1935, to Joseph Downey and Irene English Downey.

Dorothy was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Illinois.

She leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Tracy Worley of Golconda, Illinois; a son, Ronald Austin of Ohio; three grandsons, Steve and Valerie Wheeler of Golconda, Justin and Kattie Wheeler of Marion, Illinois, and Jeremy Austin of Ohio; one great-grandson, Blayke Williams of Marion, Illinois; and Rickey, Debbie, James and Jessica Morris of Golconda, Illinois.

Services will be at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church on the RR Golconda at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2003, with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois.

Hosick Funeral Home in Golconda is handling arrangements.
