Audrey Blair

Services for Audrey M. Blair, 89, of Newburgh, IN, were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cox Funeral Home with Owen G. Solomon officiating.  Burial was in Fluorine Cemetery.

Mrs. Blair died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005 in Newburgh.

She was of the Church of Christ faith.

Surviving are a son, William "Bill" Rose of Newburgh; a brother, Hershal Spear of Harrisburg; two half brothers, Charles Spear of Rosiclare and Bill Spear of Sauk Village; three half sisters, Helen Hicks of Rosiclare and Ada Meadows and Alice Bryan, both of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Omar "Shorty" Blair; one son, Gaylon Rose; two stepsons, Eugene Blair and Gary Blair; two brothers; one half brother; two sisters; and one half sister.  Her parents were William Oscar Spear and Maggie Shadowens Spear.
