Doris Bayne

Doris Faye Bayne, 69, of Cuba, KY formerly of Hardin County, IL, died at 3:27 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Bayne was a retired bookkeeper and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a former Girl Scout leader.  She grew up in Hardin County and she and her family formerly lived in Elizabethtown.

Surviving are her husband, Walter Bayne; two daughters, Marilee Baker and Melodee Johnson, both of Cuba; a foster daughter, Beth Vaughn of Golconda, IL; her mother, Madeline Partain Sisk of Cuba; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandmother.  Her father was Charles Albert Sisk.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 14 at Good Hope Cemetery in Hardin County, with Jeff Stone officiating.

There was no visitation.
