Gail Brookmyer

Gail Derringer Brookmyer, 69, of DeSoto, IL died Monday, May 15, 2006.  She was born in Hardin County on April 9, 1937 to Jesse and Nellie Derringer.  She was of the Apostolic faith.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Gary Brookmyer; a daughter, Kim (Dave) Raneses of Washington state; a son, Samuel (Candace) Brookmyer of DeSoto; three sisters, Lois Millikan, Geneva Anderson and Alma Brookmyer; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lois and Charles Boyd.

Services were held at Huffman-Harker Funeral Home, Carbondale, on Wednesday.  Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery, Cave In Rock.

Memorials may be made to VNA Tip Hospice or Jubilee Tabernacle Church, DeSoto.
