Gerald Board

Services for Vyron Gerald Board, 64, of Metropolis were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cave In Rock Christian Church with the Rev. Daniel Brands officiating.  Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Board died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Board; three daughters, Rene Baker of Tennessee and Paula Robinson and Geri Brook, both of Georgia; a son, Steve Board of Golconda; his mother, Belva Board of Elizabethtown; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Board.  His father was Prentice Board.

Cox Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral.
