Troy Barnerd

Troy Barnerd, 95, of Elizabethtown died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007 at his home.

Mr. Barnerd was a retired carpenter and construction supervisor for Allied Chemical Co. and DeSoto Mining Co.  He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Dorothy Angleton Barnerd; a daughter, Nancy Lofton of Henderson, TN; a son, Tom Barnerd of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a grandson.  His parents were Spence and Daisy Birch Barnerd.

There was no visitation or services.  Cox Funeral Home, Rosiclare was in charge of arrangements.
