Mary Ruth Carter

Mary Ruth Carter, 79, of Rosiclare, IL died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Hardin County General Hospital.

She was a member of the Rosiclare United Methodist Church.  She was a retired school secretary.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Chris) Carter of St. Louis, MO and Mark (Catherine) Carter of Asheboro, NC; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Loris Hurford Mitchell; her husband, Elmer Carter, Jr.; and a sister Roberta Henderson.

Visitation will be held at Hosick Funeral Home, Rosiclare, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Rosiclare.  Burial will be in Fluorine Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Rosiclare United Methodist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
