William Colonna

Services for William Francis Colonna, 87, of Elizabethtown will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave In Rock.  Burial with military rites will be a Central Cemetery.

Mr. Colonna died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2006 at his home.

He was a member of Hardin County Church of Christ and a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Eldorado.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta Colonna; two sons, William Owen Colonna and Thomas J. Colonna, both of Alabama; two daughters, Sally Myer of Arkansas and Kathline Moore of St. Charles, MO; one stepson, William Joseph Wells of Union County, KY; three stepdaughters, Pauline Harsock and Jenny Skaggs, both of Henderson, KY, and Margie Ann Dunn of Daviess County, KY; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Joseph Colonna, and one half brother.  His parents were William and Mae Ehmke Colonna.
