Geneva Davis

Geneva Rubey Davis, 87, of Rosiclare died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Hardin County General Hospital.

She was born October 23, 1918, in Elizabethtown to Dan and Golda (Decker) Hurford.  On June 23, 1940, she married Herpel Davis, who preceded her in death December 27, 1997.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Mahoney, on February 2, 2004.

She is survived by a sister, Lucille Kaegi of Rosiclare, and a son-in-law, Charles Mahoney and a granddaughter, Kelli Mahoney both of Eldorado.

Services were held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare with Bert Bishop officiating.  Burial was in Fluorine Cemetery.
