Jody Geisler, Sr.
Graveside services for Jody Michael Geisler, Sr., 44, of Rosiclare will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais, IL.
Mr. Geisler died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Hardin County Hospital. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Geisler; one son, Jody Michael Geisler II of Rosiclare; four daughters, Nicole, Geisler, Megan Geisler, and Heidi Geisler, all of Rosiclare, and Brittiney Geisler Deaton of Milford; his parents, Ryland and Sharon Beland Geisler of Kankakee; one brother, Timmy Geisler of Bourbonnais; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Lee Tayden; one sister; and two brothers. [Source: Hardin County Independent ]
Carrie Gill, 99, of OKC, died Sunday, April 27, 1986 in an OKC nursing home after a brief illness. She was born June 8, 1886 in Cave-in-Rock IL.
She came to Indian Territory in 1906 to teach school. She married M.A. (Lon) Jones in Wapanucka OK in 1912. The Jones were longtime residents of Lawton and Cache OK. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church, OKC.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Virginia Abbott and Mary Helen Graham of OKC; 2 grandchildren, Vicki Clark Gourley of OKC and Michael L. Graham of Houston; 4 great-grandchildren, Brandon and Kelly Clark of OKC, and Holly and Jeffrey Graham of Houston.

Shelby Katherine Baldwin Gill, 66, Bourbonnais, IL. died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center.
Shelby was born April 22, 1940 in Hardin County, the daughter of Kenneth and Verna Marie Belford Baldwin.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Kankakee.
She is survived by her husband John Darrel Gill, whom she married April 30, 1959 in Manteno, IL.; three sons and two daughters-in-laws, David and Kathy Gill, Bradley, IL., Randy Gill, Bourbonnais, IL., John and Jodi Gill, Limestone, IL.; one daughter, Lori White of Mississippi; seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Cox and Norma Cozart, both of Rosiclare; three brothers and two sisters-in-law; Irvin and Johnnye Sue Baldwin, Parsons, TN., Virgil and Elva Baldwin, Colona, IL., Garry Baldwin, Rosiclare, IL,; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Russell, Jerry and infant brother Billy Ray Baldwin.
She was the granddaughter of the late Kate and Walter Baldwin who lived on what is now known as "Ranch 34" in the Hicks Branch Community and the late Sarah and Uriah (Reezer) Belford of the Dutton Chapel Community.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Schreffler Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. Burial was in Kankakee Memorial Gardens. [Source: Hardin County Independent]
Charles Tracy Goolsby
Charles Tracy Goolsby, age 89, passed away at 12:03 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare.
Mr. Goolsby was a retired welder and a member of Rosiclare Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Rosiclare Chapter of Modern Woodman Society.
He is survived by a son, Charles (Betty) Goolsby of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a daughter, Anita (Richard) Dixon of Owensboro; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Edgar Goolsby of Festus, Mo.
Mr. Goolsby was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary (Conkle) Goolsby; wives, Lola and Jewell; a son, Robert Wayne; a sister, Augusta; and brothers, Orval, Paul, Pearlie, Nathan, Beecher, David and Joe.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare with the Rev. Bernie Cowgill presiding. Burial will follow in the Fluorine Cemetery in Rosiclare. [Source: Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer (KY) - November 23, 2004]
Mary Janette Gordon, 71, passed away April 21, 2006. She was a resident of Jacksonville for the past 30 years. Mrs. Gordon was a member of Southside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Brooks H. Gordon; two sons, Walt Gordon (Lynne) and Richard Gordon (Kate); two daughters, Beth Carr (Danny) and Susan Gordon; three brothers, Bob Clayton, Jim Clayton and John Clayton; four grandchildren, Brooke, Stephanie, Caitlyn and Travis, and one aunt, Ruth Lamar of Cave In Rock, IL.

Wilma Gormley, 87, of Harrisburg, died at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006, at Fountain View in Eldorado.
Wilma was born August 24, 1918 in Steelville, MO to Clifford and Anna Harper Lambert.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet and husband Joe Irwin of Harrisburg, Sharlene Knight of Thompsonville, and Rita Carlton of Moberly, MO; one son, James and wife Brenda Gormley of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie Green of Golconda.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gormley on November 30, 1999; parents; one brother, Richard Lambert; one sister, Fern Farley; and three grandchildren.
Wilma was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Mitchellsville.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Billy E. Green officiating. Internment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Mitchellsville. Sarah Byrne Green
Sarah Byrne Green was born in Scott County (MO) to Luke and Jane Calhoun Byrne in 1842. She married Isaac Green, also of Scott County. She died in 1927 in Rock Creek, Hardin County, IL, where she lived many years, and is buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Rock Creek. --Submitted by Susan Hoffmann.
Memorial services for Wilbur Robert Griswold, 76, of Rosiclare were held Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home, Rosiclare with the Rev. Ed Lafferty officiating.
Mr. Griswold died at 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah, KY.

Frederick Samuel Gueldner, 69, of Rosiclare, IL. died Sunday, May 14, 2006. He is survived by a sister, Esther Horning of Madison, WI. There was no service. The body was cremated. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Source: Hardin County Independent]
Bonnie F. Gunderson
Bonnie F. Gunderson, age 71, of Spring Lake, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2006 at her son's home in Spring Grove, Illinois after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 25, 1935 in Cave in Rock, Illinois, the daughter of Lowell E. and Edith A. (Rowland) Boyd. She married Nels M. Gunderson Sr. on July 23, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2002.
Mrs. Gunderson was an active member of the of Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma where she recorded tithes. She was a member of the Mary's Circle, a volunteer for the Orphan Grain Train and a member of the Christian Bible Study Group. She was an active member of the Neshkoro Lioness Club and Wautoma Garden Club. Bonnie was a supporter and volunteer for the EAA Fly-In. The joy of Bonnie's life was not only participating in the numerous volunteer organizations she was involved in, but also in being a grandmother to her four grandchildren. She always put her family first. Bonnie was blessed with many gifts especially the heart of a servant, but her greatest gift of all was the time she invested in each of our lives. She is survived by her children, Cyndi (Mike) Coltrain, Fort Smith, AR., Mark (Sheila) Gunderson, Spring Grove, IL.; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Coltrain, Fort Smith, AR., Travis Gunderson, Spring Grove, IL., Zack Coltrain, Fort Smith, AR., Austin Gunderson, Spring Grove, IL.; further survived by other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
