Wilma Gormley

Wilma Gormley, 87, of Harrisburg, died at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006, at Fountain View in Eldorado.

Wilma was born August 24, 1918 in Steelville, MO to Clifford and Anna Harper Lambert.

She is survived by three daughters, Janet and husband Joe Irwin of Harrisburg, Sharlene Knight of Thompsonville, and Rita Carlton of Moberly, MO; one son, James and wife Brenda Gormley of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie Green of Golconda.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gormley on November 30, 1999; parents; one brother, Richard Lambert; one sister, Fern Farley; and three grandchildren.

Wilma was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Mitchellsville.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Billy E. Green officiating.  Internment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Mitchellsville.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Aly Funeral Home, Eddyville.
