Catherine Hurford

Catherine Mae Hurford, 94, of Elizabethtown died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Pope County Care Center.

Ms. Hurford was a school teacher, retiring from Geneva School for Girls.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a nephew, Roy Hurford and wife JoRita of Elizabethtown; great-nephew, Rick Hurford and wife Susan; and a great-great-niece, Tricinda Hurford.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.  Her parents were Benjamin and Annie Laurie Jackson Hurford.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare with the Rev. Cherrie Wilkerson officiating.  Burial will be in Empire Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
