Earl Riley Hobbs

Our beloved friend died March 16, 2004 at Hospice Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.

 Born November 11, 1925 in Cave In Rock, Hardin County, Illinois, to Dock Warren Hobbs, and Dora Francis Hobbs. He was one of six brothers, and three sisters.

He proudly served in the Marine Corps, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He worked 25 years in underwater demolition as an explosives expert for the Government, and 17 years at Alvarado Hospital as an Engineer where he retired.

He is survived by sisters, Rose Cook, Mayme Failey, Geninitta Davis; brother, John (Tooter) Hobbs; and stepson Tommy Tilotti.

Per his request no service has been planned. He will be buried at El Cajon Cemetery.
