Ewell Hall

Services for Ewell H. "Cotton" Hall, 91, of Cave In Rock were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home.  The Rev. Clifford Rose and Arthur Austin, Jr. officiated.  Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Hall died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday at his home.

He was a member and deacon of Mount Zion Baptist Church and a member of Operating Engineers Local 318 and Cave In Rock Masonic Lodge No. 444.

Surviving are one daughter, Van Marie Patton of Cave In Rock; two brothers, Herman Hall of East Alton and Charles Weldon Hall of Montgomery County, TX; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Marie Hall; and one son, Radford Leo Hall.  His parents were Wilson and Laura Milligan Hall.
