John Kaegi

John W. Kaegi, 76, of Cave In Rock died at 10:55 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2006 at Rosiclare Healthcare Center.

Mr. Kaegi, a former mayor of Cave In Rock, was a member of First Christian Church and Cave In Rock Masonic Lodge 444.

Surviving are his wife, Mona Kaegi; two sons, Doug Kaegi and Dennis Kaegi, both of Cave In Rock; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.  His parents were Charles E. and Stella Frayser Kaegi.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2006 at Cave Hill Cemetery.
