Marie Lane

Graveside services for Marie Lane, 82, of Rosiclare were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Fluorine Cemetery.

Mrs. Lane died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at her home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Rosiclare United Methodist Church.

Serviving are one son, Cal Lane Jr. of Rosiclare; five nieces, Carole Reid of Lincoln, CA, Kay Pethtel of Tomball, NY, Patty G. Jewell of Brockport, NY, and Ellecn Cook and Mary Pomatto, both of Springfield; and three nephews, George Karber of Tomball, Dr. George Stone of Knoxville, AR, and Paul Stone of Chaney, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Lane Sr.; one brother; and four sisters.  Her parents were George and Nelle McGinnis Karber.

There was no visitation.

Hosick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
