Linda Marler

Services for Linda Kay Marler, 50, of Herod were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Homey Comb Church of God in Herod, where she was a member.  The Rev. Harold Miller officiated with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Marler died at 8:11 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2005.

Surviving are her husband, James "Jim" Marler; one son, Jim Marler of Herod; one daughter, Gorganna "Finley" Marler of Herod; two sisters, Eileen Sturgill of Carbondale and Thelma Reed of Delanon; her mother, Ida Williams of Rosiclare; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Williaims; one daughter, Dena Finley; and one grandson, Charlie Marler.
