Red Mick Graveside services for Millard Eugene "Red" Mick, 94, of Rosiclare were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006 at Fluorine Cemetery. Mr. Mick died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, November 4 at Hardin County General Hospital. He was a retired electrician at Ozark Mahoning Fluorspar Mining Co. and a retired employee at Rosiclare Fire Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Rosiclare Christian Church, Ainad Shrine Temple, Rosiclare Masonic Lodge, the Royal Arch, Knight's Templar and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a brother, Robert Mick of Palm Beach, FL., two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Callie Dixon Mick; a daughter, Marilyn Blatter; two brothers; and a sister. His parents were Harry Mick and Roxie Cowsert Mick. There was no visitation. Hosick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Source:
