Marian Oelheim
Georgia
Marian Oelheim, 77, of Sullivan, Ind.,
formerly of Newburgh, died Wednesday, Jan. 30,
2002, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.
Marian
was the first child born to George and Evelyn
Pickering of Cave in Rock, Illinois. She
enjoyed spending time with her family and
friends. She was an
Elvis
Presley fan and enjoyed watching college
basketball. She attended Crossroads Community
Church in Sullivan, Indiana.
Marian
worked at Whirlpool from 1969 until her
retirement in 1983.
Survivors
are a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and
Ronna Oelheim of Sullivan, Ind.; a daughter
and son-in-law, Judy and Louie Skaggs of
Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Stacie Nichols of
Madisonville, Ky., Misty Oelheim of
Evansville, Christy Betzinger of Newburgh and
D. J. Oelheim of Sullivan; 5
great-grandchildren, Kayla Wininger, Kaycie
Nichols and Alex Nichols, all of Madisonville,
and Madison Oelheim and Cameron Betzinger,
both of Newburgh; a sister, Barbara Waters of
Boonville, Ind.; nieces and nephews; and
great-nieces and nephews.
Services
will be at 2 p.m. CST Saturday at Alexander
Newburgh Chapel, Reverend Lester Howard
officiating, with burial in Rose Hill
Cemetery, Hwy 261 in Newburgh. Visitation is
from 4 to 8 p.m. EST today at Alexander-Kean
Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana, and from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Newburgh
Chapel.
