Bill Stacey, son of Bill Stacey, Herod, had finished
basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood,
MO. He was to enter training at Fort Knox, KY in
advance engineering.

news: Misses Freda and Karen Sue Gowins were ill
with the flu. The Church of God junior Sunday
School class enjoyed a Valentine party at the church
parsonage.

Potts, daughter of Mrs. Norma Lacey Potts, Rosiclare,
was chosen Basketball Queen at Rosiclare Community
High School. Ed Downey, co-captain of the team,
was her escort.
Mrs.
Earl George of near Herod and Clyde L. Flynn of near
Cave In Rock were having birthdays on February 29.
A
son, Danny Keith, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dale
Rose of Elizabethtown on February 22 at Hardin County
General Hospital.
