Larry
David Potts, 47, of Eva, Alabama, formerly of
Harrisburg, IL., died at 8:00 p.m. Sunday,
August 20, 2006 due to injuries sustained in a
car accident.
He was
born on June 4, 1959 in Chicago, IL. to the
late Alfred "Earl" and Mary (Millikan)
Potts.
He is
survived by one son, Joshua Potts, Harrisburg,
IL.; four sisters, Linda Day, Blountsville,
AL., Brenda (David) Humm, Harrisburg, IL.,
Helen Duncan, Elizabethtown, IL., and Carolyn
(Tinker) Reed, Cave In Rock, IL.; four
brothers, Ronnie (Evelyn) Potts, Harold
(Charlene) Bebout, and Jackie (Patti) Potts,
all of Harrisburg, IL., and Steven Potts, Eva,
AL. He also has many nieces, nephews,
great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Also
surviving are four stepsisters, Beth Lake, Flo
Calvert, Pat Shedd, and Linda Bates, all of
Cullman, AL.; two stepbrothers, Jerry Wilcox
and Billy Phillips, of Cullman; and one
brother-in-law, Sam Madonia, Blountsville, AL.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, one brother,
Clifton Dennis Potts, one sister, Patricia
Madonia, and stepmother, Lois Potts.
Visitation
will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September
2 at Felty Funeral Home, Carrier Mills,
IL. A memorial service for the cremated
remains will be held at 11:00 a.m. The
Rev. Roy Baker of Rosiclare First Baptist
Church will officiate.
In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Felty Funeral Home; all contributions will go
towards a memorial monument.
