Charles
Arza Rash, 87, 2012 Pine St., Eldorado, died
10:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at the VA
Hospital in Marion.
Funeral
services were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7 at
Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with Roger
Willis officiating. Burial was in Mt.
Zion Cemetery near Cave In Rock with military
rites.
He was
born March 8, 1919 in Cave In Rock to Ben T.
and Maude E. (Hufsey) Rash. Mr Rash
married Frances Hogeland in 1945 and she
preceded him in death January 30, 1980.
On December 6, 1980, he married Ruby Bougas.
Rash
served in the Army during World War II.
He was
employed as a mill foreman at Ozark-Mahoning
Mining Co., Rosiclare.
He was
a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of
Carbondale, a life member of Eldorado American
Legion Post No. 169 and a life member of the
Disabled American Veterans.
In
addition to his wife, he is survived by three
sons, Randall (Carole) Rash of Raleigh, Marvin
(Janice) Rash of Eldorado and David (Mary)
Rash of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Cherie
Partain of Atlanta, GA.; one sister-in-law,
Mariella Rash of Harrisburg; six
grandchildren, Randy Rash, Jennifer (Rash)
Lane, Corey Rash, Heather Rash, Luke Partain
and Kaleb Rudder; and seven
great-grandchildren.
He is
preceded in death by three borthers, Clyde,
Hazel and C.B., and two sisters, Ruby Blair
and Nellie Dutton.
