Donald Rorer

Donald Ray Rorer, 55, of Mount Carmel died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at his home.

He was a member of Mount Carmel Lick Prairie Christian Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Surviving are a daughter, Billie Dawn Duke of Harrisburg; four sons, Joff Rorer of Harrisburg, Shane Rorer of Herod, Shawn Rorer of Mount Carmel and Charlie Spinks of St. Louis; a sister, Connie Harvey of Marion; and 12 grandchildren.

His parents were Billy Ray Rorer and Maxine English Rorer.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7 at Cox Funeral Home, Rosiclare with the Rev. steve Williamson officiating.  Burial was in Twitchell Cemetery near Elizabethtown with military rites.
