Pearl Ratliff

Pearl (Joiner) (Turner) Ratliff, 89, of Golconda, died 4:05 am, Friday, August 18, 2000 at Western Baptist Hospitel, Paducah, KY.
She was born Nov. 9, 1910, in Pope County to Obe and Lydia (Lacey) Joiner.  She married Floyd Turner in 1926.  He preceded her in death in 1944.  She married Sylvester "Pete" Ratliff in March 1946.  He died July 8, 1992. 
Mrs. Ratliff was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Golconda Garden Club.  She was a homemaker and member of the Union Social Brethren Church. 
She is survived by three sons, Avery "Gene" Turner of Golconda, Everett "Bill" Turner of Golconda, Donald of Golconda and daughter, Lydia "Sharon"  Beal of Scottsdale, Arizona.  One sister Leona (Joiner) Stevens of Golconda, many, many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son Larry Michael Turner, one sister Opal (Joiner) Carlson and four brothers, Lacey, Everett, VIrgil and Paul. 
Funeral services  are 2 pm Sunday, Aug 20, at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda .  The Rev. E.J. Cole will officiate, with burial at IOOF Cemetery in GOlconda. 
Visitation is after 6 pm today, Aug 19, at the funeral home. 
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
