Kenneth Shores

Services for Kenneth D. Shores, 56, who died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Dannel Funeral Home, Sherman, TX.  Pastor Leland Samuelson of Sherman House of Praise officiated.  Interment was at West Hill Cemetery.

Kenneth was born at Cave In Rock, IL. on July 9, 1950, to David Shores and Madge Beavers Shores.  He was employed at Burlington Industries for seven years before he became associated with Sherman Wire, where he had been for the last 20 years.  He married Sharon Diane Johnson on April 13, 2002 in Grayson County.

Surviving are his wife Sharon; sons, Jeremy Shores of Durant, OK, Kenneth Eugene Shores of Sherman, Dust Day Shores of Achille, OK, and Danny Lee McDowell, Jr. of Sherman; daughters, Becky Cuellar of Sherman, Diana McDowell of Sherman, Christy Brooks of Achille, OK, Audra McDowell of Sherman, and Tamra McDowell of Sherman; brother, Billy Shores and wife Margie of Texarkana, AR., sister, Patsy Bryan and husband Doug of Texarkana, TX; and 12 grandchildren.
