Kenny Smock

Kenny Wayne Smock, 49, Golconda, IL, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah, KY.

Kenny was the son of Willie Smock and Ellen (Hayden) Smock.

He had been a security officer at Bluegrass Downs in Paducah, KY.

Survivors include six sisters, Juanita Twitchell, Rosiclare, Wilma Ashford, Harrisburg, Ruth Billington of Canton, Margie Hicks, Golconda, Brenda Huckleberry, Vienna, and Maxine Wetherington of Eddyville, KY; a brother, Bobby Smock, Brookport; nieces and nephews; and special friends with whom Kenny made his home, Mike, Denise and Mikey Piotrowski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patty (Brown) Smock in 2003 and three brothers, Troy W. Smock, Loy Smock and Danny Keith Smock.

A joint committal service was held for Kenny Wayne Smock and Danny Keith Smock on Monday, March 27 at Twitchell Cemetery in Hardin County.  Rev. Mitch Garrett officiated.
