Willena C. Shockley

Willena C. Shockley, 68, of Rosiclare, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2005.

She became a Christian in 2003 and was a member at General Baptist Church in Rosiclare.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Silas and Laurie Anderson of Berwyn, Ill., and one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Kip Davis of Golconda, IL; seven grandchildren, Kayli Daymon, Jessie, D. J. and Matthew Davis; Silas Anderson III, Alexander and Alexis Anderson; and one great-grandchild, Josiah Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Shockley and Sheila Hunt, and her grandmother, Hattie Hufsey.

She enjoyed church, reading, bingo, and fishing.  Her greatest joy was being with family and friends.

A memorial service was held on May 14, 2005 at 11 a. m. at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare with Reverend Roy Baker officiating.
