William Vaughn

William Eugene Vaughn, 56, of Rosiclare, IL, died Sunday, June 11, 2006, 8:45 a.m. at the VA Hospital in Marion, IL.  He was born November 11, 1949 in Stonefort, IL. to Joseph Franklin and Beulah Vaughn.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a truck driver.  He was a member of Gaskin City Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg.

Survivors include a son; Travis (Kimberly) Vaughn of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Gina (Todd) Shaffer and Samantha (Jeff) Winters, Rosiclare; a sister, Nancy (Danny) Winkleman of Pope County; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Robert Vaughn; and two sisters, Joann Fisk and Elizabeth Ann Hopkins.

Services will be held at Cox Funeral Home, Stone Church Road, Rosiclare today (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Reb. Don Nelson.  His ashes will be buried at Spring Valley Cemetery, Rudement.
