The following is from the Galesburg Republican Register of Dec. 8:
"Wallace J. Emery and Miss Pauline A. Carter both of Galva, were married at 3 o'clock in the church parlors of the Methodist church, by the Rev. Dr. Joe Bell, on Wednesday afternoon. John E. Entrikin and Lizzie Cann, both of Geneseo
Geneseo Republican, Geneseo IL January 30, 1880
On Monday, Jan. 19th at the residence of the officiating clergyman, Mr. John E. Entriken of Marshalltown, Iowa and Miss Lizzie E. Cann of this city, were married by Rev. C. H. D. Fisher. "Everett" is a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Entriken, of this place and is a prosperous young farmer. He will take his bride to his home at Marshalltown, Iowa, shortly, where we trust they may live long and happily.
Entriken, Walter J., of Geneseo, Henry Co., a recent graduate of Oberlin College, married Miss Julia A. Chamberlin of Moline, Rock Island Co., on 18 Aug. 1870 at the residence of the bride's parents. (RI Daily Union, Monday, 22 Aug. 1870)
