Sunday will mark the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baron, with a church celebration at 10 o'clock mass.
Mr. Fred Baron is the son of Mr. Mose Baron and Philomene LeBeau; Mrs. Baron is the daughter of Mr. William Itzwere and Josephine Boucher.
They were united in marriage on Jan. 15, 1886, by Rev. Father Langlais in St. Mary Church in Beaverville. After their marriage they went to live on their farm near Papineau where they resided for 14 years.
On December 24, 1901, they moved to town where they have lived ever since.
Mr. and Mrs. Baron were the parents of three sons, one dying in infancy, another one passed away at the age of 14 years, and Louis who with his family has always lived with his parents. They have two grandchildren, Granger and Mildred.
Mr. Baron has four brothers and seven sisters; Mrs. Baron has one sister.
Mr. and Mrs. George Bard will attend the couple at the mass on Sunday.
The bridal party will then motor to Kankakee, where they will be entertained at 6 o'clock dinner at the Oberlin Hostess House.

To Wed

Mr. and Mrs. Donal Ehmen of Watseka, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anita Kae, to Dale Thomas West, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther McPhearson, also of Watseka. The couple will be married June 14 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.

Engaged--Mr. and Mrs. Leo Grabow of Watseka announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy Sue to David John Kosik of Sheldon. He is the sone of Nila Zeilstra of Sheldon. A September 27 wedding is planned at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.

Couple Wed-- Brenda Kay Hoover, Martinton and Lane Page, Kankakee, were married May 3 at Immanuel Church of Christ, Papineau. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Leveque, Martinton. Dorothy Staads, St. Anne and Lester Page of Chebanse are parents of the groom.

Wellington- (Redmon and Hines)

The approaching marriage of Miss Mabel Hines to Alexander Redmon of Wellington, Ill. was announced Sunday at the Catholic church.
The wedding will take place here Thanksgiving day, Nov. 27th. Mr. Redmon is a son of the late Alexander
Redmon. He is principal of a school at Wellington. Saint. Marie Tribune, Jasper County, IL - Friday, November 14, 1913
