Leonard is located off of Highway 24 east of Gilman and west of Crescent City in Iroquois County.

Leonard Station
The new town of Leonard, named after President Leonard, on the T. P. & W. between Crescent and Gilman has been designated as a flag station. Will Grob will probably benamed as postmaster without controversy, but the salary isn't much, yet.
