TWO WOMEN DEAD AT BEAVERVILLE

Mrs. Henry Arseneau and Mrs. Peter Ponton Have Fatal Injuries

______

Two of the women injured in the tornado at Beaverville last Tuesday have since died. They are Mrs. Henry Arseneau whose death occurred at 5:30 Friday afternoon and Mrs. Peter Ponton who died Saturday morning. The lives of two other women who were injured by the storm are despaired of. They are Mrs. Theodore Massey and Mrs. Charles Sindon. Both are considered in dangerous condition and little hope is entertained for their recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Arseneau lived in the country. They were at home with some of their children when the storm broke. The woman went down stairs and into the kitchen when the house collapsed. She was pinned against a wall by the stove and suffered severe burns and internal injuries. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ponton was demolished. They were an old couple. The woman was caught under wreckage of the house but was rescued from the flames which followed, only to die of her injuries.
