Mrs. Tom Brown is visiting her mother, Mrs. Willie Aikman, in Marion for a few days.

George Brush went to Marion today where he will be the piano accompanist for a musical recital given there by Miss Mae Dorsey, of this city.

Mrs. J. R. Brown is visiting relatives in Golconda.

Mrs. E. T. Harris and little daughter visited relatives in Marion today.

Dr. J. R. Steagall of Portland, Oregon, is expected here tomorrow to spend Christmas with Carbondale relatives.

Mrs. Katherine Kelly is seriously ill at her home on Oak Street.
