William F. Boals

William F. Boals was born in Mansfield, Ohio, November 2, 1836, married Susan J. Kendall, January 1,1863, who preceded him in death in 1911.  He immigrated to Illinois in the spring of 1866 and remained on a farm near Makanda until in the fall of 1914.  He moved to Boskeydell where he died on the 25th day of March, A. D., 1925, at the age of 89 years, 4 months, and 28 days.  Mr. Boals had been in ailing health for several years, though he was always cheerful and afflictions? patiently.  He leaves four children; Fred J. of Southern California, Frank K. of Carbondale, Mrs. William Honey of Tamms, and Cora who lived with her father.  Also one sister, Mrs. E. A. Snider of Los Angeles, CA., and four grandchildren.  Funeral services conducted by Rev. Eligah Brooks, March 27, at 11 o' clock with interment in the Antiock Cemetery.
