Jeanette A. Cook
GRAND TOWER - Jeanette A. Cook, 43, passed away at 2:01 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Murphysboro after a long illness. Jeanette was born April 12, 1965 in Carbondale to Howard W. and Flo May (Cripps) Cook. She is preceded in death by her father; one sister; and her grandparents. Jeanette was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly Church, Grand Tower. She had worked as an assembly line operator for Dyno, Noble Inc., Wolf Lake, IL. Survivors include her fiancee, Ricky Roberson of Murphysboro; two sons, Christopher L. Morse of Murphysboro and Richard Roberson of Grand Tower; three daughters, Jennifer N. Berry of Marion, Amanda D. Morse of Murphysboro, and Christina Wilson of McClure; five grandchildren; her mother, Flo Cook of Grand Tower; four brothers, Howard W. Cook Jr. of Catiz, KY, Raymond L. Cook of Murphysboro, Floyd L. Cook of Florence, MS and John S. Cook of St. Genevieve, MO; five sisters, Carol Francis Cook, Linda Cook, Paula Cook, Flatta Cook and Hazel Cook all of Grand Tower; and her beloved dog Precious aka Cooch; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including, Ellis Cook and Carla Cook who were like children to Jeannette. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Meredith Funeral Chapel, Grand Tower. Rev. Peggy Camp will officiate. Interment will be in Walker Hill Cemetery, Grand Tower. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2008 at the funeral chapel.
