Susan Fleming

Mrs. Susan Fleming, beloved wife of John Fleming, 62 year old Murphysboro tornado victim died March 18, 1925 at the home of her nephew, Harrison Lipe, 510 South 18th St., this city.  She was a member of the Ditch Ridge Baptist church, giving her heart to God about 32 years ago.  She was a loving wife, a patient mother and a kind neighbor.

She leaves to mourn her departure, the husband John Fleming, and son Harlan of Murphysboro, Will Fleming and Mrs. Dora Grammer of Pomona; three brothers, Wynn, Ed and Walter King, also three sisters and nine grandchildren, and a host of friends.  Two daughters preceded her in death.

Sad are our hearts since our loved one is gone.  But God knew best when he called her home.
