Thomas A. Baker purchased the Holliday farm in 1961. His father Brooks Baker owned the farm since 1947. They were farmers and raised cattle.
This cemetery was restored (ongoing) and researched by Lois Baker & Jurgen R. Hempel, who have donated this updated listing 2008.

NOTE #2 SOURCE: http://www.iltrails.org/jackson/jchis.htm "One mile north lived James HALL, whose wife was the first person buried in the Hall graveyard in 1813. South, on Muddy River, on what is now known as the HOLLIDAY farm, lived Nathaniel DAVIS and the LEWIS'S, and I think the wife of Thomas LEWIS was the first person buried in the Holliday Graveyard, in 1813, followed soon after by (Gasper Butcher--1815) the father of George and John BUTCHER, who were well known to all the old settlers of the county".
